What Superior Turf Direct does and does not stand behind: materials only, the contractor directory, specification tolerance, appearance variation, installed performance, certifications, planning estimates, and warranty.
1. Materials only #
Superior Turf Direct is a supplier of synthetic turf materials. We do not install turf, we do not perform site work, and we do not act as a contractor. We are not licensed by the California Contractors State License Board, the Nevada State Contractors Board, or the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, and we do not hold ourselves out as contractors in any state. Installation must be performed by a properly licensed contractor where licensing is required.
2. The contractor directory #
Contractors listed in the Turf Installation Network are independent businesses that have asked to be listed. We do not employ, supervise, train, bond, insure, or guarantee them. We do not verify licensing, insurance, or workmanship on an ongoing basis. A listing is not a recommendation, endorsement, or warranty. Verify license status, insurance, and references yourself before hiring anyone. Any agreement you make with a listed contractor is between you and that contractor, and Superior is not a party to it and has no liability arising from it.
3. Specifications #
All specifications are nominal manufacturing values supplied by the manufacturer and are subject to normal production tolerance. Pile height, face weight, total weight, gauge, roll dimensions, and roll weight vary within manufacturing tolerance and may change without notice as the manufacturer revises production. Where our published specification and a current manufacturer document disagree, the manufacturer document controls. If a specification is critical to your project, request written confirmation before ordering.
4. Appearance, color, and samples #
Samples and photographs show representative appearance only. Color, blade shape, thatch texture, and sheen vary between production runs and dye lots. Screens and printed materials do not reproduce color accurately. Variation between a sample and delivered material, or between rolls from different production runs, is inherent to the product and is not a defect. Where appearance uniformity matters, order all material for a project at one time and confirm that it ships from a single production run.
5. Performance #
Installed performance depends on base preparation, compaction, drainage design, seaming, fastening, infill selection where applicable, site conditions, drainage below the surface, traffic, climate, and maintenance — none of which are supplied or controlled by Superior. We publish no drainage rate for any product. We make no odor-reduction claim for any product. We publish no green speed or stimp rating and no impact attenuation, GMax, HIC, or ASTM F1292 fall-height rating for any product; an installed athletic or playground system must be designed and tested by qualified professionals. We make no representation regarding water savings, utility rebates, or eligibility for any incentive program.
6. Certifications and testing #
Compliance and certification statements are the manufacturer's declarations regarding the products they supply. They are product-specific and are not catalog-wide. A statement for one product does not apply to another. Third-party test reports, where available, are furnished on request. Certification marks belong to their respective certifying bodies and reflect testing of the manufacturer's products, not of any installed system.
7. Estimates and calculators #
Any quantity estimate, roll planner, or cut planner on this site is a planning aid only. Verify all measurements and quantities before ordering. We are not responsible for over-ordering, under-ordering, or waste resulting from reliance on an estimate.
8. Warranty #
