1. Who we are #
Superior Turf Direct ("Superior," "we," "us") is a materials supplier of synthetic turf products located at 420 S. Juniper Street, Escondido, CA 92025. We can be reached at (619) 717-1342 or privacy@superiorturfdirect.com. This policy explains what information we collect through superiorturfdirect.com and our related tools, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
We sell to businesses — contractors, landscapers, and dealers. Most of the information we collect is business contact information. It is still personal information under California law, and we treat it that way.
2. Information we collect #
Information you give us. Name, business name, job title, email address, telephone number, business and jobsite addresses, license or registration numbers you choose to provide, the products and quantities you inquire about, and the contents of messages you send us. If you apply for a sales position or register as a partner, we collect what you submit on those forms.
Information collected automatically. IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time spent, and general geographic region derived from IP address. We also set a first-touch attribution identifier that records which of our representatives referred you, and which persists for up to 30 days.
Information from third parties. Our email delivery provider tells us whether a message was delivered, opened, or bounced. Publicly available business registry information may be used to verify a business account.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or information about health, race, religion, sexual orientation, union membership, or immigration status through this website. Payment card information, when needed, is collected on a separate authorization form and is not stored on this website.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. This is a business-to-business website and is not directed to children.
3. How we use it #
To respond to quote, sample, and product inquiries; to process and fulfill orders; to route your inquiry to the appropriate representative; to send transactional messages about your orders and samples; to send commercial messages where you have opted in; to verify business accounts and eligibility for our partner program; to improve the website; to detect and prevent fraud and abuse; and to comply with legal obligations.
We also use it to credit inquiries to the representative who referred you. If you arrived through a representative's link, that representative will see your inquiry.
6. How long we keep it #
We keep inquiry and quote records for 3 years from the last interaction; order and transaction records for 7 years to satisfy tax and warranty obligations; warranty registrations for the full warranty period plus 2 years; and marketing contact records until you opt out plus a short suppression period so that we can honor the opt-out. Website analytics data is retained for 14 months.
7. Security #
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including role-based access controls, encrypted transmission, and restricted database permissions. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law, including California Civil Code section 1798.82, Nevada Revised Statutes section 603A.220, and Arizona Revised Statutes section 18-552.
8. Your choices, everyone #
You may ask us to correct or update your information, ask us to delete information we no longer need, opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any message, opt out of text messages by replying STOP, or ask us not to route your information to a particular representative. Contact privacy@superiorturfdirect.com or call (619) 717-1342. We will respond within 45 days.
9. California residents #
California law gives residents specific rights regarding personal information. Superior Turf Direct does not currently meet the applicability thresholds of the California Consumer Privacy Act. We nonetheless honor the following rights as a matter of policy, and will comply as a matter of law if our business grows past those thresholds:
- Right to know what categories of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purpose, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it.
- Right to access a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected, subject to exceptions for completing a transaction, security, legal compliance, and internal uses reasonably aligned with your expectations.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information. There is nothing to opt out of, but the request channel exists at /privacy-choices.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as that term is defined.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you products, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.
Submit a request at /privacy-choices, by email to privacy@superiorturfdirect.com, or by calling (619) 717-1342. We will verify your identity by matching the information you provide against our records; for business accounts we may confirm your authority to act for the business. An authorized agent may submit a request with written permission signed by you.
Shine the Light. California Civil Code section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.
10. Nevada residents #
Under Nevada Revised Statutes section 603A.340 and section 603A.345, Nevada consumers may submit a verified request directing an operator not to sell certain covered information. We do not sell covered information as that term is defined in NRS 603A.333. Our designated request address for these requests is privacy@superiorturfdirect.com. We will respond to a verified request within 60 days, and may extend that period by up to 30 additional days where reasonably necessary, in which case we will notify you.
The categories of covered information we collect are described above. The categories of third parties with whom we may share it are described above. You may review and request changes to your covered information by contacting us at the address above. Third parties may collect covered information about your activities on this website over time and across different websites — see /cookies. We will notify you of material changes to this policy by updating the effective date at the top and, where the change is material, by posting notice on the website.
11. Arizona residents #
Arizona has not enacted a comprehensive consumer privacy law. Arizona residents may exercise all of the choices described in this policy. In the event of a breach of unencrypted personal information, we will notify affected Arizona residents within 45 days as required by A.R.S. section 18-552.
12. Outside these states #
This website is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. We do not currently offer products for sale outside the United States.
13. Changes #
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change. Material changes will be posted on the website. Your continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
