Weed Barrier Fabric
Woven fabric layer installed between the base and the turf.
Rolled over the base to limit growth coming up through the installation. Overlap the edges and keep it flat before the turf is placed.
Gopher Wire
Galvanized mesh laid over the compacted base before the turf goes down.
Rolled out across the prepared base and overlapped at the seams. Commonly used on sites where burrowing rodents are a known issue.
Turf Nails
Non-galvanized spikes used to secure the turf perimeter and seams.
50 lb box, 5-inch nails. Driven around the perimeter and along seams at regular spacing. Quantity depends on the size and shape of your project.
